Cambridge Technology Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on QA experience to lead testing for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and analysts to ensure high-quality releases across platforms.

The role emphasizes strong functional testing fundamentals, test automation, API testing, and end-to-end validation, including cross-browser/device coverage and CI/CD awareness.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong functional testing fundamentals along with practical experience in test automation, API testing, and end-to-end application validation.

The resource will work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases across web and mobile platforms.

• 5–7 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.
• Strong experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, defect lifecycle, and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Experience with at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Good experience with API testing tools such as Postman and/or REST Assured.
• Experience testing applications across Android and iOS devices.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with defect/test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Understanding of Git/version control and CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to independently analyze requirements, identify test coverage, and highlight potential quality risks.

• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications.

• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and release/UAT activities.
• Perform database/data validation using SQL wherever required.
• Support release validation and provide clear recommendations on application readiness.
• Contribute toward improving overall QA processes, automation coverage, and release quality.
