Qualifikationen

• Must have 5–7 years of software quality assurance/testing experience.
• Strong foundation in testing web-based and mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, defects lifecycle, and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages for test automation (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#).
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and/or REST Assured.
• Experience testing Android and iOS applications.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with defect/test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Understanding of Git/version control and CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify test coverage, and highlight quality risks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications.
• Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and traceability documentation.
• Test applications across multiple browsers, devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
• Test native/hybrid mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
• Identify test cases for automation and improve the automation regression suite.
• Perform REST API testing and validate requests, responses, authentication, error handling, and backend integrations.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects with development teams.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and release/UAT activities.
• Perform database/data validation using SQL where required.
• Support release validation and provide recommendations on readiness.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and automation coverage.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional testing fundamentals along with practical experience in test automation, API testing, and end-to-end application validation.

The resource will work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases across web and mobile platforms.
