Job summary

Konstant Infosolutions is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Analyst (QA) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications. This role focuses on validating software functionality and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and functional testing, defect tracking, and a good understanding of software testing methodologies. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with development teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and create test plans and test cases.

• Conduct regression, integration, UAT and other tests as required.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Analyst (QA) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating software functionality, identifying defects, and ensuring that delivered products meet business requirements and quality standards. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements and Duties:

• Analyze project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Perform manual and functional testing for web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues
• Conduct regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ensure applications meet functional, usability, and performance standards
• Validate APIs, database integrity, and backend functionality as required
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best testing practices
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports
• Support production releases and post-release validations
• Continuously improve QA processes and testing methodologies

Skill and Ability:

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience in testing web and mobile applications
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and load testing tools and techniques
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.)
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries
• Experience with test management tools is a plus
• Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
