Job summary

Team4 LifeSpaces is seeking a detail-oriented QC Sr. MEP Engineer to ensure quality compliance of MEP installations at project sites in Hyderabad.

You will implement QA/QC procedures, inspect electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting works, and coordinate with execution teams and consultants. The role requires 4–6 years in MEP QA/QC, strong knowledge of codes and inspection procedures, and proficiency with MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in MEP QA/QC for high-rise residential or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, quality standards, codes, specifications and inspection procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in reviewing approvals, submittals and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Raise, monitor, and close NCRs and site observations within timelines.
• Coordinate with execution teams for corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection checklists, QA records, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with consultant specifications and project quality plans.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QC Sr. MEP Engineer to ensure quality compliance of MEP installations at project sites.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing QA/QC procedures, inspecting MEP works, coordinating with execution teams and consultants, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement MEP QA/QC procedures and quality standards at site.
• Inspect electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting installations as per approved drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Review material approvals, technical submittals, and method statements.
• Raise, monitor, and close NCRs and site observations within stipulated timelines.
• Coordinate with execution teams for corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection checklists, QA records, and quality documentation.
• Monitor compliance with consultant specifications, project quality plans, and contractual requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure ITPs, test reports, certificates, and other quality records are updated and submitted on time.
• Conduct internal quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Liaise with consultants and clients during inspections and quality reviews.
• Ensure overall MEP work meets required quality standards, specifications, and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Diploma/qualification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management will be an added advantage.
• 4–6 years of experience in MEP QA/QC, preferably in high-rise residential or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, quality standards, applicable codes, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.

Preferred Background

High-rise residential buildings experience is mandatory.
