Role Summary: As a QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by conducting thorough testing throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical abilities, and a passion for delivering flawless software.Experience with Veeva applications or similar enterprise solutions is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Strategy:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on project documentation.

2. Execution of Test Cases:

• Execute test cases to assess functionality, performance, and security of software products.
• Identify and report defects with detailed information for developers to resolve.

3. Automation Testing:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Implement and execute automated test suites as part of the continuous integration process.

4. Regression Testing:

• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate with developers to validate bug fixes and ensure successful resolution.

5. Performance and Load Testing:

• Perform performance and load testing to ensure scalability and reliability of software products.

Analyze test results and collaborate with the development team to optimize performance.

6. Documentation:

• Document and maintain detailed records of test cases, test results, and defects related to Veeva applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies with a focus on Veeva’s unique software.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QA Specialist or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is mandatory.

Preferred:

• ISTQB or similar testing certification.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Experience with Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, or other Veeva cloud products, particularly in the context of quality assurance and testing.
