Job summary

Detect Technologies is seeking a proactive QA Engineer (QA2) skilled in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality of web and API-based applications. Qualifications

• 6 months to 3 years in Quality Assurance with hands-on manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and test management.
• Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar.
• Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing (both manual and automated).
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python.
