Job summary

Deepspatial is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure quality across software applications. You will design test plans, create test cases, and work with development teams to resolve issues. The role involves hands-on testing, both manual and automated, with experience in Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.

Collaboration with product managers, developers, and UX designers will help deliver robust releases. Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA and TestRail, and a strong understanding of SDLC and Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of software testing or QA experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC & Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specs.
• Conduct manual and automated testing including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects with bug-tracking tools and coordinate with developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate quality to stakeholders.
• Participate in process improvements and best practices in testing.

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive testing and evaluation. This role involves developing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities :

• Test Planning : Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Test Execution : Conduct manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Defect Tracking : Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools; work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to understand product requirements and provide feedback.
• Test Automation : Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
