Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in Pune, Maharashtra, invites applications for a Quality Engineer to join the SolidWorks QA Engineering Team. You will help deliver high-quality CAD software on Windows and participate in the full QA lifecycle.

The role requires strong SOLIDWORKS design/3D modelling background, familiarity with Enovia/PLM, and experience in test design, automation, and product quality assurance. Pune-based position, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• B.E. / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from premier institutions.
• 2–5 years of mechanical design or testing design experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks and 3DEXPERIENCE or PLM tools.
• Knowledge of Python automation is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Articulate and prove the value of SOLIDWORKS solutions to partners/customers to support QA plans.
• Develop professional solutions for the product in collaboration with the team.
• Guarantee customer satisfaction through QA from design to release.
• Participate in testing requirements for functionality, usability, performance, workflow, robustness.
• Work with development teams to identify and resolve problems and improve QA processes.
• Create test designs, run/ review automated tests, and report issues.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Software Quality Engineering team at Dassault Systemes India, the Engineer would have to articulate, demonstrate and prove the value of the SOLIDWORKS Solutions to our partners/customers to support the QA plan.
• He/she would be responsible for engaging and developing the Professional Solutions for the Product.
• The QA Engineer will work as part of a team responsible for guaranteeing customer satisfaction with the SolidWorks design environment by providing quality assurance evaluation from initial design to product release.
• Validation of quality will include active participation in testing requirements in functionality, usability, performance, workflow, and robustness.
• This individual will work closely with the application development team to help quickly identify and resolve problems, while actively participating in improving QA process definition within the organization.
• This position will be responsible for creating test designs, running/reviewing automated tests, performing interactive testing that emulates customer workflows, and reporting/verifying problems.
• Capitalize on feedbacks from incidents reported by customers to continuously improve the testing process (content and efficiency).

Qualifications:

• B.E. / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from premier institutions with good academic track records.
• 2 - 5 years of technical experience in mechanical design, or testing design software
• Experience with 3D CAD software SolidWorks.
• Experience on 3DEXPERIENCE Platform or any other PLM tool.
• Having experience on automation or programming language like Python will be added advantage.
• Having experience on Agentic AI will be added advantage.
• SOLIDWORKS Certifications like Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE) or Certified SOLIDWORKS Profession (CSWP).
• Must have experince of manufacturable drawing creation.
• Must be detail-oriented with demonstrated analysis and follow-through skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-starter who works equally well independently and in a team environment
