Job summary

Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS in Pune, Maharashtra, seeks a Graphics Engineer to join the Visualize AI Powered Development team. Strong C#, C++, Python, graphics and AI skills are expected to build a modern 3D rendering and visualization application for Windows.

You will prototype features, optimize performance, collaborate across international teams, and contribute to AI-driven rendering for SOLIDWORKS Visualize within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 2–5 years in C#, C++, Python, Graphics & AI technologies with practical experience in commercial desktop applications on Windows.
• Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science from a reputed institute.
• Solid understanding of engineering math, software engineering principles and OOP.
• Interest in 3D computer graphics, rendering, visualization or game engine technologies.
• Experience with modern graphics APIs or rendering frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with CAD/visualization applications is beneficial.
• Interest or experience in AI/ML related to graphics, rendering, or workflow automation is a plus.
• Team player with good communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a modern 3D rendering and visualization application across the full software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement AI-driven features and AI agents for photorealistic rendering in SOLIDWORKS Visualize.
• Prototype and feature development; design scalable software components; develop graphics and rendering functionality.
• Debug, profile and optimize performance; build multi-step reasoning workflows for AI agents.
• Integrate AI agents with client-server architectures using WebSocket, REST, or other protocols.
• Write maintainable and testable code; perform testing and validation; document work; collaborate with Agile/SCRUM teams.

We are seeking a software engineer to work in the SOLIDWORKS Visualize AI Powered Development.C++/C# Graphics Developer for SOLIDWORKS Visualize. Deliver World Class Apps. Continuously improve deliveries based on usage and user feedbacks development group.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a modern 3D rendering and visualization application across the full software development lifecycle, including:
• Technological intelligence: Keep abreast of the latest technological developments, understand the requirements of our development partners, know about competing products, look ahead for future products, technologies, languages, etc.
• The candidate should have worked in reputed companies with a background in software product development.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, C++, Python, Graphics & AI technologies.
• Experience with CAD software like SOLIDWORKS/Catia/UG/PROE etc will be of added advantage.
• A strong work ethic, showing innovative and out-of-the-box thinking, proven problem-solving ability and a team player attitude is essential.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

• C#, C++, Python developer with expertise in Graphics & AI technologies .
• Design and implement AI-driven features, AI agents for photorealistic rendering product – SOLIDWORKS Visualize
• Prototyping and feature development
• Designing and implementing scalable software components
• Developing graphics and rendering functionality
• Debugging, profiling, and performance optimization
• Build multi-step reasoning workflows where AI agents parse instructions, plan tasks, and execute CAD operations.
• Integrate AI agents with client-server architectures using WebSocket, REST, or other communication protocols.
• Writing maintainable and testable code
• Testing and validation
• Documentation and technical collaboration
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary Agile/SCRUM team:
• Participate in sprint planning and technical discussions
• Contribute to story definition and implementation
• Collaborate with developers, QA, UX, and product management
• Continuously improve development processes and product quality
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple international teams and technology domains.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Experience: 2–5 years of experience in C#, C++, Python, Graphics & AI technologies coupled with practical experience in commercial desktop applications on Windows.
• Education: Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science from reputed institute.
• Solid understanding of Engineering Mathematics, Software engineering principles and Object-oriented programming
• Interest in 3D computer graphics (Rendering pipeline), rendering, visualization, or game engine technologies
• Experience with modern graphics APIs or rendering frameworks is a plus
• Familiarity with CAD, visualization, simulation, or content creation applications is beneficial
• Interest or experience in AI/ML technologies related to graphics, rendering, image generation, or workflow automation is a plus
• Team player - Good at working with team to achieve goals of the product.
• Excellent communication skills in English

Programming Languages:

• C#, C/C++, Python, .NET Framework
• Knowledge of other scripting languages is a plus

Graphics & AI Technologies:

• DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL or other similar graphics APIs
• Experience with physically based rendering (PBR) concepts is a plus

AI / ML Foundations -

• LLMs (prompting, fine-tuning, evaluation)
• Embeddings, vector search (RAG systems)
• Agent frameworks (multi-step reasoning, tool use)
• Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex, OpenAI / Gemini / Claude APIs
