Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in Pune is seeking a SOLIDWORKS Simulation Developer to help build and maintain high-quality simulation tools integrated with SOLIDWORKS CAD.

You will work on pre- and post-processing, design studies and optimization features, and collaborate with a multinational team to deliver CAD/FEA/PLM solutions that enable engineers to validate designs early in the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BTech/MTech in Mech/Civil/CS with strong academic record.
• Proficient in C++, multithreading and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with GUI design using MFC/VC++ and COM is a plus.
• 1–3 years of developing interactive applications.
• Interest in CAD/FEA/PLM-based software.
• Strong analytical and geometry skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

SOLIDWORKS Designer Simulation is a portfolio of structural analysis tools fully integrated within the SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD environment. It enables engineers and designers to virtual-test their 3D models against real-world physical conditions to evaluate product performance, improve quality.

Role Description & Responsibilities

• Build world-class products for Simulating Products, Nature & Life!
• Join us in our journey to simulate industry workflows via Simulation (pre- and post-processor), Design Study and Optimization, Sensors.
• Develop, Test, and deploy code for given requirements
• Help analyze and solve technical issues.
• Contribute to software development design discussions for new features & new product development.

Qualifications

• BTech\MTech in Mech\Civil\Comp Science with good academics.
• Sound programming skills using C++, Multi-Threading and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Good to have experience in designing and implementing graphical user interfaces using MFC/VC++ and COM (Component Object Modeler).
• 1-3 Years in developing interactive applications.
• Strong inclination to work on the development of applications and products which are CAD/FEA/PLM based.
• Strong Analytical & Geometry skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and a strong desire to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
