Job summary

Recro is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. The role requires hands-on experience in manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications, with strong Java + Selenium automation and Appium for mobile testing.

Candidate should have 3+ years of QA experience, API testing with Postman, Jira and Agile/Scrum familiarity, and exposure to automation frameworks and CI/CD. Product-company background or a strong engineering education is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web, Android, and iOS applications.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and STLC processes.
• Automate UI tests using Java + Selenium and mobile tests using Appium.
• Build and maintain reusable automation scripts and frameworks.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate API responses, integrations, and logs.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Analyze application/device logs to troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in bug triage, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Integrate and execute automation suites through CI/CD pipelines.
