Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in functional and UI testing, with hands-on experience in API testing (Postman), database validation (SQL), and automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.

Responsibilities

• Perform web and mobile testing across different platforms and devices (Android, iOS).
• API & Database Testing
  • Perform API testing using Postman (validating requests, responses, authentication, and headers).
  • Write and execute SQL queries to verify database integrity and ensure data consistency.
  • Develop automation test scripts using Selenium (Web), Cypress, Playwright, or Appium (Mobile).
  • Implement test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Maintain and enhance existing test automation suites.
• Performance Testing (Good to Have)
  • Conduct performance testing using JMeter, k6, or Locust.
• Bug Reporting & Agile Testing
  • Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure issue resolution.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
