Job summary

CONFIDENCIAL in India is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks across UI, API, and data layers. You will drive quality through end-to-end automation and contribute to improved release cycles.

You will work with Playwright, API testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines in an Agile team, ensuring defects are identified early and test strategies align with best practices in quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building automated tests across UI, API, and data layers.
• Strong knowledge of Playwright for end-to-end automation.
• Experience with API-level testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Ability to validate data and perform SQL-based verifications.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices.
• Collaborative in Agile environments with developers and BAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated regression and functional test suites.
• Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot defects across UI, API, and database layers.
