Job summary

Digile Pte Ltd is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Playwright. The role covers UI, API, and regression testing with integration to CI/CD pipelines.

You will analyze results, report defects, and collaborate with developers for fast resolution. Strong Java and Playwright expertise is required, along with STLC knowledge and hands-on experience in CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and Playwright for automation.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks.
• UI, API, and regression testing experience.
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks ensuring high-quality software delivery.

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java & Playwright.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Automate UI, API, and regression test cases.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis of failures.
• Participate in requirement reviews and test planning.
• Maintain test documentation and reports.
• Support integration, system, and UAT testing activities.
• Strong experience in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
• Experience in UI and API automation testing.
• Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
• Knowledge of REST Assured / Postman for API testing.
• Exposure to Docker and cloud platforms.
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter, Gatling).
