Job summary

Job description

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans for solar EPC projects.
• Establish quality control procedures and standards in line with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Document and report any non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes and practices.
• Implement lean and efficient QA processes to enhance project delivery and reduce costs.
• Train and mentor team members on quality assurance standards and practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, IEC standards).
• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with quality management systems.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure quality standards are understood and met.
• Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Support client interactions related to quality assurance matters.
• Develop QPs for Inspection and audit.
• Process of approval before material dispatch from the factories.
• Implement and acceptance test.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., CQE, CQA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in quality assurance within the renewable energy sector, particularly solar EPC projects.
• Proven experience with quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong understanding of solar energy systems and components.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the solar industry.
