Job summary

Responsibilities

• Overseeing Clinical and Service Quality monitors across the hospital.
• Conduct internal and external audits as per the quality calendar and provide feedback to departments via management meetings.
• Monitoring and tracking of all quality indicators for each department and providing feedback to concerned departments.
• Co-ordinating continuous quality improvement projects and clinical audits to evaluate and meet patient care needs.
• Revision of policies, procedures and SOPs in consultation with department HODs as required.
• Analysis of incident reports using RCA tools and planning actions.
• Achieving, sustaining NABH, JCI and other accreditations.
• Monitoring committee meetings and distributing minutes to concerned members.
• Representing the department in hospital committee meetings.
• Ensuring quality management, health & safety and legal compliance across activities.
• Design and implement quality plan strategies for optimal resource use.
• Discussing daily rounds findings with management.
• Conducting patient safety awareness programs.
• Updating guidelines based on evidence-based practices and new literature on quality improvement.
• Ensuring quality assurance programme across the organization.
• Verification and validation of quality indicators.
• Training HCWs on continuous quality improvement.
