Aelum Consulting is seeking a Quality Analyst with 4+ years of experience to drive end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications. You will design comprehensive test plans, execute test cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

The role involves manual testing with basic automation, API testing using Postman, and active participation in Agile ceremonies to ensure thorough validation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver with TestNG.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing with basic automation testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar.
• Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and evidence.
• Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure system stability across releases.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation, reports, and dashboards.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
