Job summary

OpenSpace Services in Mumbai seeks a detail-oriented Quality Analyst to ensure quality across web and mobile applications. You will conduct manual testing, contribute to API tests with Postman, and participate in Agile ceremonies while collaborating with developers and product teams.

You will also assist automation efforts using Playwright and explore AI-assisted QA tools to boost efficiency and accuracy in defect analysis and test-generation tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manual testing across web and mobile apps.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC with test planning.
• Ability to write clear, detailed test cases and bug reports.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.

Responsibilities

Note: This position is open only to candidates based in Mumbai or nearby locations who are comfortable with Work From Office requirements.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Quality Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing and exposure to Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software testing concepts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to ensure high-quality product delivery across web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Identify, document, track, and verify bugs using defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and QA discussions.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.
• Perform basic database validation and backend data verification when required.
• Support UAT and production release validation activities.
• Assist in automation testing activities and maintenance of automation scripts/frameworks.
• Utilize AI tools for test case generation, bug analysis, documentation, and QA productivity enhancement.
• Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and testing methodologies.

Required Skills (Must Have)

• Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in writing clear and detailed test cases and bug reports.
• Good understanding of web and mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking/project management tools like JIRA or similar.
• Hands-on exposure to Playwright automation scripting.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as GPT, Claude, or similar AI-assisted productivity tools.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
