Job summary

Ravitej Projects is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with experience in underground works and tunnelling to lead project planning and progress monitoring. The role involves preparing and updating schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project, tracking quantities, and coordinating with site execution, billing, procurement, and client teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on planning and progress monitoring experience, strong analytical and reporting skills, and a solid understanding of NATM

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in project planning, quantity surveying, and progress monitoring.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of NATM tunnelling activities, underground excavation, support systems, and construction sequencing.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.

Job description

• Quantity estimation, reconciliation, and progress tracking of executed works.
• Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitoring manpower, equipment, and material deployment against project targets.
• Coordination with site execution, billing, procurement, and client teams.
• Preparation of work programmes, look-ahead plans, and productivity analysis.
• Assistance in preparation of client bills, subcontractor bills, and project documentation.
• Monitoring project progress and identifying delays, risks, and corrective measures.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience in underground works, tunnelling, hydropower, or pumped storage projects.
• Hands-on experience in project planning, quantity surveying, and progress monitoring.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of NATM tunnelling activities, underground excavation, support systems, and construction sequencing.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.

Preferred

• Experience in large-scale hydropower, PSP, metro, railway tunnel, or underground infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with contractual documentation, billing, and project controls.
