Job summary

Ravitej Projects is seeking a civil engineer to execute and supervise critical works for powerhouse, tunnels and associated infrastructure in Maharashtra. The role requires planning, coordination of multi-disciplinary teams and strict adherence to drawings, specs and safety standards.

With 3–8 years of experience in large-scale hydropower or underground projects, you will manage multiple fronts, monitor progress and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of experience in hydropower, pumped storage, underground works, dams, tunnels, or heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise civil works related to powerhouse, tunnels, access adits, roads, drainage and related infra.
• Plan and monitor daily construction activities aligned with project schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, machinery, materials and subcontractors to meet progress targets.
• Monitor excavation, support systems, concrete works, reinforcement, formwork and finishing activities.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Prepare daily progress reports, work fronts and resource planning schedules.
• Coordinate with planning, quality, survey, mechanical and client teams for smooth execution.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in hydropower, pumped storage, underground works, dams, tunnels, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience in execution of large RCC structures, powerhouse works, underground caverns, excavation, and support activities.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, resource planning, and progress monitoring.
• Ability to manage site teams and multiple work fronts independently.

Preferred

• Experience in powerhouse construction, hydropower projects, PSP projects, underground caverns, or major infrastructure developments.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures, construction planning, and contract specifications.
