Job summary

Rightsline India is seeking a QA professional to interpret customer requirements and develop regression tests for new and existing features. You will execute customer-specific regression suites, report issues in Jira, and document results in Testmo.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain ownership, and help build automated testing led by Playwright, TS, and Cucumber. The role is based in Noida/NCR with a hybrid work model and security/compliance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of quality control, assurance, or testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/CE or equivalent.
• Strong ownership and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to write clearly and communicate remotely.

Job description

• Interpret customer requirements to develop relevant customer-specific regression test cases for new and existing features
• Execute customer-specific regression test suites at specified intervals
• Identify and report issues and areas of improvement in Jira
• Report test results clearly in Testmo
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to meet customer testing needs
• Collaborate with teammates to investigate and verify issues proactively
• Write scripts using Powershel and SQL to automate comparison of test results to known results
• Work with the Quality Control Lead and QC Manager to investigate the possibility of creating automated testing suites for customers using Playwright + Typescript + Cucumber
• *Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• *Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2 frameworks

What You Bring:

• 3 years of QualityControl /Assurance, Business Analysis, or Technical Support/Testing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong sense of ownership and proven ability to adapt when priorities change
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Team-first mindset, and a willingness to learn new features and shape new processes
• Ability to understand customer requirements in order to develop effective test cases
• Experience writing manual regression tests, and executing regression, smoke, and exploratory testing suites
• Ability to write clearly and concisely
• Ability to communicate effectively via remote collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software
• 1+ years of experience with relational databases in SQL
• 1+ years of experience with testing software such as Testmo/TestRail / Xray
• Understanding of programming concepts and hands-on experience with at least one programming language (PowerShell, JS/TS, Python, Java)
• 1+ years of experience with API testing
