Job summary

JobItUs invites applications for the QC Lab Chemist position located near Ankleshwar, Gujarat. The role focuses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished product testing according to SOPs, GLP/GMP standards, and safety procedures.

The candidate will perform wet chemistry, titration, pH, moisture, density, and other analyses, operate pH meters, UV, and chromatographic instruments, and maintain meticulous records. Collaboration with Production and QA is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and chemical testing.
• Good documentation and calculation skills.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical handling.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as per specifications and SOPs.
• Perform wet chemical analysis, titration, pH, moisture, assay, density, etc.
• Handle laboratory instruments such as pH meter, UV, Karl Fischer, HPLC/GC, as applicable.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and standards.
• Maintain test records, logbooks, and laboratory documentation.
• Report OOS results and support investigations.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab instruments.
• Follow SOP, GLP, GMP, EHS, and safety procedures.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and chemical inventory.
• Coordinate with Production and QA for quality-related activities.
