Job summary

Capital Placement Services Gurgaon is seeking an Assistant Manager-QA/QC to lead quality assurance and control in our agrochemical/chemical operations. The role requires hands-on laboratory work, data interpretation, and oversight of QC activities.

The ideal candidate will conduct analyses, calibrate instruments such as UPLC, LC-MS, GC, ICP-OES, XRD, and DSC, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards while guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of QA/QC experience in agrochemical or chemical industries.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing and QC procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position: Assistant Manager-QA/QC

Department: Quality Assurance & Quality Control

Experience Required: 6-08 years (Agrochemical or Chemical Industry Experience Must)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Please mention in below table)

• To conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods or stability samples.
• To calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment.
• To compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses.
• To complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms, equipment logbooks / inventory forms.
• Must have knowledge of sophisticated machine like UPLC, LC-MS , GC, ICP-OES, XRD and DSC etc., Preparation of standard solution, Classical lab testing etc. knowledge of chemistry, analytical lab equipment.
• Knowledge of Total quality management, ISO 9001, 14001 OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved
• Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
• To interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
• Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods and protocols.
• Ensure 100% chemical compliance to standards through scheduled checks and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Undertake corrective action on quality of raw materials and packaging with Material Management department.
• Train Lab Assistants to perform Lab tests.
• Good Leadership & Problems Solving Skills.
