Job summary

Anshika Polysurf in Bharuch, Gujarat is seeking a QC Chemist to join our chemical manufacturing team. • Position: QC Chemist
• Industry: Chemical Industry

Key Responsibilities

• Instrumental Analysis: Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated QC laboratory instruments including GC (Gas Chromatography), Spectrometers, UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, and Karl Fisher (KF) titration apparatus.
• Testing & Inspection: Perform physical and chemical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished chemical products as per defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, record test data promptly, and prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and analytical reports.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety protocols, and internal quality management systems.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working as a QC Chemist within the Chemical Manufacturing Industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Mandatory hands-on experience and operational knowledge of GC, UV-Vis Spectrometer, and Karl Fischer titration.
  • Strong understanding of chemical testing methods, laboratory safety, and quality control procedures.
• Soft Skills: Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
