Job summary

Kandiga Consultancy Services in Bengaluru requires a Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure production quality aligns with customer specifications, drawings and PO records. You will document deviations, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain calibration records for lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA checks and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with 5S and ISO record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Check production quality as per standards, customer specs, P.O., drawings; report deviations and arrange rectification or replacement.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in working order and calibrate with national test houses; file test records.
• Prepare test certificates for customers.
• Conduct quality checks during processes and record deviations for rectification and rechecks.
• Inspect incoming materials and components; inform purchasing for corrective action and obtain test certificates when needed.
• Maintain compliance with Customer/National/International standards for products.
• Coordinate with customers during final product inspections and obtain approvals for dispatch.
• Mark inspected goods with OK seal from lab/inspection department.
• Familiarize with and practice 5S; file ISO records and develop quality formats/records as MIS.
• Prepare non-conformity reports and related documentation as required.

Job description

Job Descriptions :

1) Check production quality in all respects as per standards customer specification, P.O, Drawings and Record by way of test report. In case of any deviation/rejection prepare RGA and inform the concerned and ensure that the defect is rectified/ or items replaced.

2) Maintain all laboratory equipment s in satisfactory working condition and also ensure timely calibration of all equipment s from reputed national test house as required by our customers and file the test records.

3) Prepare test certificates to customers.

4) Conduct quality checks during process and record, inform deviation if any, to the concerned for rectification. Recheck after rectification.

5) Check all incoming materials/ components both procured from our side and to be supplied from our customers and record. In case of any deviation inform purchase for suitable corrective action; maintain the records of all tests carried out. In case we cannot carry out any of these tests on raw materials/ components due to lack of required facilities at our end, ask the supplier to furnish test certificate to that effect and also get them tested once in a way from any reputed national test house and maintain such records at our end.

6) Maintain Customer/ National/ International standards of our products.

7) Coordinate with our customers at the time of their inspection of final products, provide the necessary clarification/ rectification and get their approval for dispatch.

8) All the inspected and customer cleared finished goods for dispatch should be marked with OK seal from lab/Inspection department.

9) Be familiarized and practice 5S system, maintain the related ISO records. All purchase order copies are systematically filed.

10) Develop necessary formats/ records with regard to quality on daily/ monthly basis as management information system.
