Job summary

TXM Solutions invites an experienced QA/QC Lead – BIM & Engineering to establish, manage, and continually improve quality across BIM and engineering deliverables. The role ensures projects meet contractual requirements, standards, and BIM frameworks while leading quality planning, audits, design reviews, non-conformance management, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, drive quality gates, and coordinate with clients and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in civil/mechanical/electrical/architectural or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in quality management, QA/QC, and audits.
• Proven ability to lead quality activities on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 auditing principles.
• Experience with BIM information-management standards (ISO 19650).
• Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and communicate with clients and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans and QA/QC procedures.
• Establish quality gates for BIM and engineering deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and codes.
• Define and monitor BIM quality requirements (model accuracy, data integrity, naming, classification).
• Review BIM Execution Plans, CDE workflows, and information-delivery requirements.
• Conduct quality audits of designs, BIM models, drawings, and documents.
• Verify multidisciplinary coordination and support model-based clash detection and issue tracking.
• Lead internal, project, supplier, and subcontractor quality audits.
• Manage non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and root-cause analyses.
• Monitor quality KPIs and prepare dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Identify recurring issues and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Facilitate design reviews and stage-gate approvals.
• Coordinate with engineering, BIM, project controls, construction, and procurement teams to maintain quality.

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead – BIM & Engineering to establish, manage, and continually improve quality assurance and quality control across engineering and BIM deliverables.

The role will ensure that projects comply with contractual requirements, organizational quality standards, applicable codes, and BIM and engineering compliance frameworks. The successful candidate will lead quality planning, audits, design reviews, non-conformance management, and continuous-improvement initiatives while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering, BIM, project management, and client teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans, QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, checklists, and compliance workflows.
• Establish quality gates for engineering and BIM deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, applicable engineering standards, codes, client specifications, and organizational procedures.
• Define and monitor BIM quality requirements, including model accuracy, information completeness, coordination, naming conventions, classification, and data integrity.
• Review BIM Execution Plans, model review procedures, Common Data Environment workflows, and information-delivery requirements.
• Conduct quality audits of engineering designs, BIM models, drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and document-control processes.
• Verify multidisciplinary coordination and support model-based clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution.
• Lead internal, project, supplier, and subcontractor quality audits.
• Manage non-conformance reports, corrective and preventive actions, root-cause analyses, and lessons-learned processes.
• Monitor quality KPIs and prepare dashboards and reports for project leadership and clients.
• Identify recurring quality issues, recommend improvements, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Facilitate design reviews, constructability reviews, technical assurance reviews, and stage-gate approvals.
• Coordinate with engineering, BIM, project controls, construction, procurement, and document-control teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Support client audits, regulatory reviews, certification activities, and project handovers.
• Provide guidance and training on quality procedures, BIM standards, audit readiness, and engineering compliance.
• Promote a strong quality culture focused on prevention, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in quality management, QA/QC, engineering assurance, standards, and audit functions.
• Demonstrated experience leading quality activities on multidisciplinary engineering or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audit principles, particularly ISO 9001.
• Working knowledge of BIM and information-management standards, including ISO 19650, or equivalent industry frameworks.
• Experience reviewing engineering deliverables, BIM models, design documentation, and project compliance records.
• Strong understanding of non-conformance management, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, risk-based thinking, and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with Common Data Environments and structured engineering-document workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and engage confidently with senior management, clients, consultants, contractors, and auditors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification in ISO 9001.
• Certification or formal training in BIM, ISO 19650, quality management, or project management.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or integrated management systems.
• Familiarity with tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit, Civil 3D, ProjectWise, or similar platforms.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, buildings, industrial, transportation, energy, or multidisciplinary EPC projects.
