QA QC Engineer - Power Cables

Job summary

Finolex Cables in Pune is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional with hands-on experience in testing LT & HT power cables. You will independently conduct electrical and physical type tests and ensure compliance with IS, IEC, and BS standards during manufacturing.

You will handle FR-LSH, FR and LSZH category tests, contribute to QA documentation under ISO/QMS, and participate in customer inspections.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in power cable manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Independent handling and testing of electrical and physical type tests for LT & HT grade power cables as per IS, IEC, BS standards.
• Independent handling and testing of special tests required for FR-LSH, FR and LSZH categories of cables.
• Complete knowledge of about power cables in-process/manufacturing test parameters and lab testing as per relevant IS, IEC, BS standards.
• Handling of testing activities during customer inspection as well.
• Understanding of calibration process of testing instruments.
• Understanding and handling of QA documents as per ISO/QMS system.
