Qualifications

• BE/BTech degree required in relevant engineering field.
• Experience with LT cables testing desirable.
• Knowledge of manufacturing practices and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and electrical testing of LT cables up to 3.3 kV as per IS/IEC.
• Conduct Type and Routine tests, PD, and heating cycle.
• Coordinate with sales team and customers for inspections.
• Ensure testing and documentation processes are efficient and compliant.
• Recommend process improvements based on audits.

Job description

• Physical and Electrical Testing of Cables LT Cables.


• High Voltage, Partial Discharge, Impulse Testing, Heating Cycle, Type Test & Routine Testing of LT cables as per IS and IEC Standards up to 3.3 KV.


• Customer Inspection within the stipulated time period.


• Coordination with sales team.


• Ensuring that working processes (testing & documentation, etc) are efficient and adhered to.


• Making recommendations for process improvement demonstrating regular audits and necessary amendments.


• Communicate proactively and professionally with clients and colleagues

Technical -

• Conversant with latest technology and industry - product standards and specifications


• Experience in Manufacturing Industry testing of cables ( LT )

Functional -

• Experience of of LT Cables testing.


• Good knowledge of Manufacturing Practices/ Processes
