Job summary

GMS Elegant Builders in India seeks a QA/QC Engineer to plan, implement, and monitor the QA/QC system for PEB, structural steel, composite structures, RCC, concrete, reinforcement, foundations and civil works.

You will prepare PQP, ITPs, checklists and quality procedures, review drawings and specs, establish inspection procedures, coordinate with client, consultants, subcontractors and third-party inspectors, and maintain quality documentation.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8–12 years of QA/QC experience in construction.
• Experience with PEB/structural steel and RCC/concrete works is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor the QA/QC system for PEB, structural steel, composite structures, RCC, concrete, reinforcement, foundations and civil works.
• Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), ITPs, checklists, method statements and quality procedures.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project quality requirements.
• Establish inspection procedures for PEB, structural steel, composite structures, RCC and civil works.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, JSSL, subcontractors, design team and third-party inspection agencies.
• Ensure all materials and construction activities comply with approved specs and codes.
• Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test reports, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs and quality dossiers.

Job description

Responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the QA/QC system for PEB, structural steel, composite structural works, RCC, concrete, reinforcement, foundations, and associated civil works. Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, applicable IS/ASTM standards, project requirements, and client/consultant quality requirements.

• Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, method statements, and quality procedures.
• Review approved-for-construction drawings, specifications, BOQ, material specifications, and project quality requirements.

• Experience in composite steel-concrete structures will be an advantage.
