Job summary

DESAI CONSTRUCTIN PVT. LTD. invites Diploma/Graduate Civil engineers with 4–8 years of experience in contracting firms involved in industrial buildings to apply immediately. The role covers QA/QC duties, method statement reviews, ITP/QAP preparation, and site inspections.

The candidate will implement and monitor quality management systems, conduct quality walks, train project teams, and oversee testing labs and subcontractor performance on site in Dahej/Jamnagar region.

Qualifications

• Review and implement the Construction Method of Statement in the project.
• Prepare the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
• Implement and monitor Quality Management System procedures related to functions.
• Conduct Quality Walks and monitor Corrective and Preventive actions.
• Provide required training to Project team, workers, and training.
• Concrete pre pour & post poured check.
• Inspect all construction activity.
• Establish and maintain material testing laboratory at sites as per Laboratory Manual.
• Inspection of all building finishing works like painting, tiling, false ceiling and cladding.
• Inspection and monitor subcontractor performance and works.
• Conduct routine inspection and material testing as per TS, CA, MORTH & IS/ASTM/NATM standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and implement construction method statements.
• Prepare ITP and QAP and ensure they are followed.
• Monitor Quality Management System procedures on site.
• Conduct quality walks and track corrective actions.
• Train project team and workers on QA practices.
• Perform concrete pour checks and inspections.
• Oversee all construction activities on site.
• Maintain on-site material testing laboratory as per manual.
• Inspect finishing works including painting and ceiling installations.
• Review subcontractor performance and compliance.
• Perform routine material testing per applicable codes.
