Job summary

Bureau Veritas do Brasil is seeking a Civil QA/QC professional to perform on-site inspections, audits and supervision per QAP and approved procedures. The role includes training juniors, preparing inspection reports, and ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and client requirements.

Candidates should have a BE/B.Tech in Civil with 6–7 years of experience, knowledge of PMC and NDT tests, and the ability to act as a 2nd party engineer on site. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow up reports and close gaps identified in reports.
• Adhere to Codes and Standards and review QAP & Quality Manual.

Job Description:

Purpose of Position

The job incumbent is responsible for performing QAQC inspections, audits, supervision as per QAP, approved procedure, standards, etc., Should carries out some tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well identified or isolated assets.

Major Responsibilities

• Third Party Inspection or QA/QC of Civil Projects on a continuous basis
• Conducting on-site training for juniors,
• Preparing progress report, field inspection report, NCs, etc based on client’s requirement.
• Follow up the above reports and close the gaps mentioned in the reports
• Adherence to Codes and Standards (Knowledge of Codes and Standards),
• Inspection, supervision of construction activities as per client requirement
• Review of QAP & Quality Manual

Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects

Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

• On-time delivery of Reports
• Client relationship – Retention and Growth.
• Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
• Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
• To adhere Group HSE Guidelines.

Qualification and Experience

General:

• Graduate Engineer BE/ B.Tech (Civil) with min. 6 to 7 years

Technical:

• Knowledge of PMC, NDT tests and material test will be preferred
• Experience in residential and commercial building shall be required.
• Along with QAQC, candidate should be able to work as 2nd party engineer taking care of site execution

• Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation.
• Ability to comprehend technical issues quickly.
• Ability to work in a team.
