Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
• Strong experience in manual testing of enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of Agile SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test planning and execution, defect lifecycle management, and various testing types.
• Familiarity with quality gates, release readiness criteria, and QA metrics.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira and Zephyr or similar platforms.
• Automation Skills (bonus): Selenium, Playwright; programming languages like Python/Java/JavaScript.

Who We Are Looking For

Our team is looking for an accomplished Senior Quality Assurance Engineer/Lead. In this role, you will leverage your expertise across manual testing techniques, Agile methodologies, software engineering standards, and test automation. We are searching for a dedicated practitioner capable of partnering seamlessly with cross-functional groups to deliver exceptional software and advance our testing frameworks.

What You’ll Be Doing as A Part of Our Team

• Perform end-to-end manual testing for web applications.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Create, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
• Ensure adherence to established quality gates throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Utilize quality engineering tools and metrics to monitor product quality and release readiness.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Contribute to test strategy, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across the team.

What You Should Have To Qualify

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in manual testing of enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of Agile SDLC and Agile testing methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with:
• Test planning and execution
• Defect lifecycle management
• Regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing
• Good understanding of quality gates, release readiness criteria, and software quality metrics.
• Experience using quality management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira and Zephyr or similar platforms.

Automation Skills (mandatory)

The ideal candidate should possess working knowledge or hands‑on experience in implementing test automation using one or more of the following tools:

• Selenium WebDriver
• Playwright
• Utilizing deep programming(Python, Java, or JavaScript ) knowledge to build efficient, scalable test automation scripts.

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

• Test planning.
• Test automation hands on experience.
• Knowledge of API testing.
• Understanding of database validation using SQL.Experience working in CI/CD environments.
• Strong collaboration with cross teams and stakeholder management skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality engineering
• Additionally, exposure to AI-powered testing tools is highly desirable, such as: TestRigor, Other AI-driven test automation platforms.
• The candidate should be able to evaluate automation opportunities, contribute to automation strategy, and help improve overall test efficiency.
