Job summary

Eureka Forbes is seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive quality engineering for a fast-growing, scalable product in Gurugram. You will define QA strategies, lead automation initiatives, and ensure reliability across releases, using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for automation, and JMeter for performance testing.

You will mentor QA engineers, collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve release efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software testing/QA experience.
• Hands-on automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
• Exposure to Playwright automation framework.
• Experience testing scalable, high-traffic product applications.
• Hands-on load and performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
• API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Experience with Jira or TestRail/Zephyr for test management.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.

This role requires someone who can define QA strategies, lead automation initiatives, and ensure product reliability across multiple releases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end‑to‑end QA strategy for web applications and scalable products.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
• Contribute to modern automation initiatives using Playwright.
• Build and execute comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end test suites.
• Plan and execute load, stress, and performance testing to validate application scalability and stability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure high‑quality software releases.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and improve release efficiency.
• Analyse defects, identify root causes, and work with development teams for timely resolution.
• Define QA best practices, testing standards, and quality metrics across projects.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers while driving continuous process improvements.
• Monitor application health and quality using monitoring and observability tools.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software testing/quality assurance.
• Strong hands‑on experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
• Exposure to the Playwright automation framework.
• Experience testing scalable, high‑traffic, product‑based applications.
• Hands‑on experience in load and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6 or similar.
• Good understanding of API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with containerised applications (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Previous experience working in a product‑based company building scalable platforms.
• Leadership experience in mentoring QA engineers and driving automation adoption.
