Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer – Salesforce CRM with 4–6 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce CRM applications. You will design and execute comprehensive test scenarios, validate configurations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce Lightning functional testing, STLC, and API testing using Postman or similar tools, in a Hybrid Gurugram

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on Salesforce CRM functional testing.
• Hands-on testing Salesforce Lightning applications, including Flows, validation rules, profiles, and permission sets.
• Strong understanding of STLC, test case design, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience with API and integration testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in the Insurance domain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for Salesforce CRM applications.
• Validate Salesforce Lightning configurations, including Flows, rules, profiles, and permission sets.
• Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across the STLC.
• Conduct API and integration testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Identify, log, and verify defects through closure using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, test planning, and quality assurance activities.
• Ensure high-quality software releases through thorough functional validation.

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer – Salesforce CRM with 4–6 years of experience in functional testing. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce CRM applications by designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios, validating Salesforce configurations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce Lightning functional testing, STLC, and API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for Salesforce CRM applications.
• Validate Salesforce Lightning configurations, including Flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, and page layouts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Conduct API and integration testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
