Job summary

NonStop io Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proficient QA Engineer to join our growing team.

You will be responsible for quality assurance (manual and/or automation) of enterprise-level applications, developing test plans and ensuring robust QA across functional, regression, performance, and security testing. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software QA experience, a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering, and hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured) and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing.
• Proficient in functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Ensure test coverage by working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Strong proficiency in automated testing using either Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of STLC and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Hands-on experience writing and validating database queries using SQL.
• Knowledge of testing asynchronous, event-driven systems using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall quality of the product.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA methodologies and automation frameworks.

NonStop io is seeking a proficient QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for quality assurance (manual and/or automation) of enterprise-level applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure software quality

• Establish and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for test automation
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured
• Strong proficiency in automated testing using either of Selenium or Playwright
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle management
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Hands-on experience writing and validating database queries using SQL.
• Knowledge of testing asynchronous, event-driven systems using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
