Job summary

Spine Technologies in Mumbai is seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure high-quality, user-friendly web applications. You will participate in all testing phases, design test cases, execute tests, log defects, and verify fixes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT and at least 2 years of manual testing experience, with strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile processes.

• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our QA team, you’ll be involved in every stage of the software testing lifecycle— from understanding requirements and creating test cases to executing tests, logging bugs, and verifying fixes. You’ll play a vital role in shaping reliable and user-friendly applications that meet both functional and business expectations.

Your Role at a Glance:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Create, update, and execute detailed, comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system (Like, Jira).
• Perform functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Conduct re-testing and verification after defects are fixed.
• Prepare test reports and provide feedback on software quality.
• Ensure software applications meet quality standards before release.
• Maintain a document & feature list module-wise

Key Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes along with Agile methodology
• Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools.
