Job summary

NonStop io Technologies is seeking a proficient QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for manual and automated testing of enterprise‑level applications, developing test plans, and ensuring software quality.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to establish CI/CD pipelines, perform API testing with Postman or Rest Assured, and contribute to STLC and defect lifecycle management. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in QA are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.

NonStop io is seeking a proficient QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for quality assurance (manual and/or automation) of enterprise-level applications.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure software quality
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams for resolution
• Ensure test coverage by working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Establish and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for test automation
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured
• Strong proficiency in automated testing using either of Selenium or Playwright
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle management
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Hands‑on experience writing and validating database queries using SQL.
• Knowledge of testing asynchronous, event-driven systems using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality software
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance the overall quality of the product
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA methodologies and automation frameworks
