Job summary

Globallogic in India (Uttar Pradesh) is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive automation across IoT/mobile/embedded projects. The role requires strong Python and C# skills, hands-on QA automation, and experience with Robot Framework and Appium.

You will design test strategies, lead automation efforts, and collaborate in an Agile SCRUM setup using JIRA/Confluence and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in SDET/QA automation.
• Hands-on QA automation with Python and C#.
• Experience with Robot Framework and Appium is mandatory.
• Experience with IoT/embedded/mobile apps is desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM, JIRA/Confluence, and CI/CD (Jenkins/Docker/Git).

BA/BS degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or relevant fields
required. Master’s Degree preferred.
5+ years experience
Act in a SDET capacity to apply technical expertise to challenging problems
Hands-On experience working as a QA automation engineer.
Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
Experience with programming languages including Python and C#t, and testing
frameworks - Robot framework(Required) and Appium(Required)
Experience in IoT and/or embedded devices and/or Mobile App experience, Skills &
Abilities.
Experience with software test methodologies, test planning, test automation, test tooling,
and quality standards and metrics
Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
Experience in JIRA and Confluence
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Docker/Git
Strong experience with test automation and load testing tools
Hands-on experience of automation of tests and monitoring and correcting them
periodically
Strong experience in Python and C# programming - Mandatory
Experience in Appium and Robot Framework - Mandatory
Very Strong experience in automation Test Optimization
Experience with android/iOS devices test automation, from scoping requirements through
actual launch.
Strong organizational skills demonstrated ability to track multiple tasks in a past pace,
highly collaborative, and dynamic work environment.
Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting/diagnostic skill and the capacity to think
creatively under pressure
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release
patches
Excellent analytical skills and Strong attention to detail.
