Job summary

YASH Technologies, Inc. in Pune, Maharashtra, is hiring a detail-oriented QA Engineer with firmware, functional, and regression testing expertise to ensure the quality and performance of embedded and connected products.

You will lead end-to-end test planning, validation, and defect management while collaborating with firmware, software, and product teams. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of experience in product validation, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with embedded systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in product validation, firmware testing, or quality assurance.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Good understanding of embedded systems and firmware development processes.
• Knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, MQTT desirable; CRA awareness a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional, regression, and system-level test plans for firmware and product features.
• Design and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and validation procedures.
• Perform product validation to verify compliance with functional and quality requirements.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution and closure.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and product engineering teams to analyse issues and improve product quality.
• Support release validation activities and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Contribute to test automation and continuous quality improvement initiatives where applicable.
• Support compliance and cybersecurity validation activities, including CRA-related requirements where required.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with expertise in firmware, functional, and regression testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of embedded and connected products. • Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and MQTT is desirable.


• Exposure to Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements and basic coding knowledge is an added advantage.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
