The role emphasizes automation, CI integration, and end-to-end validation across hardware and software layers. The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years in QA, strong test planning skills, and experience with Selenium and CI pipelines.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in QA for software/firmware or programmable platforms.
• Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with Modbus, BACnet, MQTT protocols is preferred.
• Ability to read hardware schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and execute functional, regression, and system-level test plans.
• Design and maintain test cases, scenarios, and validation procedures.
• Identify, track, and report defects with timely resolution.
• Validate hardware/software compatibility across platforms.
• Develop automated test suites using Selenium.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled QA Programmable Platform Engineer with experience in functional and regression testing of programmable platforms and embedded systems. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, reliability, and platform compatibility through comprehensive validation, automation, and continuous integration practices.

Experience

Key Responsibilities :

• Define, develop, and execute functional, regression, and system-level test plans for programmable platform solutions.
• Design and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and validation procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, track, and report defects, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolution.
• Validate hardware and software compatibility across supported platforms and environments.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium.
• Support and integrate testing activities within Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.
• Verify platform functionality, performance, and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and product engineering teams to improve product quality and release readiness.

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and MQTT.
• Familiarity with Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
