Job summary

YASH Technologies is seeking a QA Programmable Platform Engineer to validate programmable platforms and embedded systems. You will develop test plans, design test cases, and automate with Selenium, ensuring platform reliability and CI integration.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of experience in software/firmware QA and familiarity with protocols like Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, contributing to high-quality releases in a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Define, develop, and execute functional, regression, and system-level test plans for programmable platform solutions.
• Design and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and validation procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, track, and report defects, working with development teams to drive timely resolution.
• Validate hardware and software compatibility across supported platforms and environments.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium.
• Support and integrate testing activities within CI pipelines.
• Verify platform functionality, performance, and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and product engineering teams to improve product quality and release readiness.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled QA Programmable Platform Engineer with experience in functional and regression testing of programmable platforms and embedded systems. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, reliability, and platform compatibility through comprehensive validation, automation, and continuous integration practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in software, firmware, or programmable platform quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and MQTT.
• Familiarity with Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
