Job summary

YASH Technologies in India is seeking Appium automation professionals with 3-7 years of software testing experience. The role focuses on mobile testing, automation using Appium, Selenium or Playwright scripting with Java, and collaboration with developers and product owners.

Candidates will mentor juniors, generate comprehensive test reports, and contribute to agile and waterfall projects. API automation with Karate is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-7 years of software testing.
• Automation Tools: Appium, Selenium or Playwright scripting with Java.
• Manual testing: if no automation knowledge, then candidate should have at least 2-3 years of mobile testing experience and excellent communication skills.
• API automation testing: Karate framework knowledge (Good to have).
• Process: Strong understanding of testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automated tests.
• Reporting: Generate comprehensive test reports and analyse results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
