Job summary

Kezan Consulting seeks an experienced QA/Testing professional in India to validate database records and EDI transactions, identify data mismatches, and troubleshoot integration issues. You will work closely with technical and business teams to ensure high-quality releases.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of QA experience, strong SQL skills, and hands-on EDI testing with platform experience (Cleo/Sterling/Seeburger/MuleSoft/Boomi).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Software QA/Testing.
• Hands-on experience in Database Testing.
• Proficient in SQL; ability to write queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with EDI testing and validation.
• Understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT.
• Knowledge of EDI transaction mapping, validation, acknowledgments, and error handling.
• Experience with API, integration, or end-to-end testing is a plus.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and collaboration.
• Experience with EDI platforms/tools such as Cleo, Sterling, Seeburger, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience in integration testing involving multiple systems and external trading partners.
• Familiarity with automation testing is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Independently validate database records and EDI transactions, identify data mismatches, and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
• Document test results, defects, and remediation steps for traceability.
