Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous QA Engineer to ensure the quality, usability, and accuracy of ETL Testing. This role involves planning and executing both manual and automated tests, documenting defects, and collaborating.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong experience in Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience in ETL Testing.
• Advanced-level SQL skills.
• Good working knowledge of Python.
• Experience in preparing test strategy, test planning, test execution, defect management, and overall testing workflow.
• Ability to independently manage and lead testing activities across the project lifecycle.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work with business, development, and testing teams.
• Identify and Document Bugs: Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing clear bug reports.
• Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Collaboration: Work within an Agile environment, providing details needed for testing and reviewing test plans with the QA team and developers.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve the testing process, identifying areas for enhancement in quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in functional testing, both manual and automation, with a specific command of UI and front-end testing.
• Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Jest) and browser debugging tools.
  • Experience with testing across multiple browsers and platforms, including mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation in reports.
  • Exposure to API testing (Postman, SoapUI) is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Tools and Technologies

• Test Automation: Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Test Management: Jira, TestRail.
• Reporting: Knowledge of report generating tools or frameworks, JUnit HTML report, Extent Reports.
