Job summary

WebaniX Solutions in India is seeking a QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in software testing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of manual testing, test case design, defect tracking, and basic automation testing.

The role involves collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases, performing functional and regression testing, API testing with Postman, and maintaining test documentation in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system and UI testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar platforms.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Collaborate with developers to understand issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies.
• Conduct regression testing before production releases.
• Maintain test documentation, test reports and QA records.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and product quality.
• Basic experience with automation testing and willingness to work with automation frameworks.
