As we scale and diversify our product and project offerings, we’re looking for someone who can own the QA charter, lead the team, and build robust testing frameworks that guarantee our product quality meets the highest standards. This position is critical to our delivery pipeline, and we're looking for a QA leader who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and proactive.

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of the QA lifecycle for assigned projects — from planning and strategy to execution and deployment.
• Understand client requirements and business use cases thoroughly, ensuring testing aligns with real-world scenarios.
• Design, build, and maintain automation test frameworks from scratch tailored to each project's needs.
• Lead and mentor a QA team, introducing new tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Prepare all relevant QA documentation: Test Plans, RTM, Test Cases, Test Reports, Defect Logs, Release Notes, etc.
• Promote and implement automation‑first and proactive testing approaches.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure a smooth and quality‑focused delivery.
• Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and encourage early involvement of testing in the SDLC.
• Communicate effectively across teams and with clients to ensure clarity and alignment.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on QA experience, preferably in tech product or services companies.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, etc.).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and experience using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Experience in working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Hands‑on with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured) and basic SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, etc.
• Ability to lead QA processes independently and coach junior testers.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodology.

Bonus: Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Locust), security testing, or mobile testing tools.
