Magure is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer for a full-time onsite role in Raipur and Mangalore. You will develop test plans, execute cases, and collaborate with developers to ensure software quality across products.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of QA experience, with automation exposure (Selenium or Playwright), API testing, and SQL basics. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to support our quality-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on QA experience in tech product or services.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Automation testing experience using Selenium or Playwright with scripting language.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman or Rest Assured) and SQL basics.
• Familiarity with JMeter for performance testing; CI/CD awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on BRDs and requirements.
• Translate BRDs into clear test documentation and strategies.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design effective test approaches.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing; manage defects and retesting.
• Execute API and database testing; document outcomes and maintain up-to-date test artifacts.
• Prepare clear documentation for test cases, defect reports, and testing results; contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with QA tools, trends, and best practices; participate in team learning sessions.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality through rigorous manual and automated testing practices. • Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
• Understand business requirement documents (BRDs) and translate them into clear, relevant test documentation.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and design test strategies.

Manual & automated testing

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

API & database testing

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Conduct database testing/data validation using basic to intermediate SQL queries.

Performance testing

• Understand and apply performance testing concepts using JMeter.
• Identify, log, and track defects in bug-tracking tools, ensuring resolution and re-testing.
• Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

Documentation

• Prepare clear documentation for test cases, defect reports, and testing outcomes.
• Keep all test documentation up to date in line with project changes.

Continuous improvement & learning

• Stay updated with the latest QA tools, trends, and best practices.
• Participate in team knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably in tech product or services companies.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in automation testing using any one framework (Selenium or Playwright) with any scripting language.
• Working knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills for database/data validation testing.
• Understanding of JMeter and performance testing concepts.
• Proven ability to create test cases and test scenarios from requirement/BRD documents.
• Experience using Confluence/JIRA for documentation and workflow tracking.
• Strong communication and requirement-understanding skills.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Bonus: exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray), security testing, or mobile testing tools.
