Job summary

A leading tech company in Pune is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing and performance testing using JMeter. Key responsibilities include designing test plans, conducting various testing types, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A solid understanding of Agile practices is preferred, and educational qualifications include BE, BCA, MCA, or M.Sc. in a related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Performance Testing using JMeter.
• Hands-on expertise in testing web, mobile, and client-server applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute JMeter test plans for performance/load testing.
• Conduct manual, regression, and integration testing.
• Write and run SQL queries for data validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, DevOps, etc.).
• Manage bugs using Jira/Mantis.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and QA process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in testing web, mobile, and client‑server applications, with a solid understanding of API testing (Postman), SQL, SDLC/STLC, and Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute JMeter test plans for performance/load testing
• Conduct manual, regression, and integration testing
• Write and run SQL queries for data validation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Dev, DevOps, etc.)
• Manage bugs using Jira/Mantis
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and QA process improvements
• Optional: Support automation using Selenium or performance monitoring tools like Grafana
