Job summary

Deloitte US-India Offices is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to design and implement automated test strategies. You will build scalable Selenium frameworks, perform cross-browser testing, and validate APIs across environments to ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will work on CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with developers, and contribute to test planning, execution and reporting across multiple browsers and platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong Java 8+ and OOP concepts required.
• Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid proficiency essential.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit and Cucumber/BDD for test design.
• API testing using REST Assured or HTTPClient.
• Build tools Maven/Gradle and CI integration with pipelines.
• Git branching, pull requests and workflow management are needed.
• Familiarity with functional, regression, integration and smoke testing.
• Cross-browser testing using ChromeDriver, GeckoDriver and EdgeDriver.
• Test reporting via Allure/ExtentReports/TestNG Reports.
• SQL and database testing knowledge is important.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile/Scrum processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust Selenium automation frameworks and scripts.
• Execute functional, regression, API, cross-browser and end-to-end tests.
• Create and maintain automated test suites using Java, TestNG/JUnit and Cucumber.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate API and service layers using REST Assured/HTTPClient.
• Generate and maintain detailed test execution reports.
• Identify, document and track defects with the development teams.
• Support test execution across multiple browsers, environments and scalable Selenium Grid setups.
