Job summary

Gosharp Technology And Consulting (p) Ltd. is seeking a QA Intern in Bengaluru to join our testing team. You will work with senior QA engineers, learn the full software testing lifecycle, and gain hands-on experience testing real product features.

Responsibilities include writing test cases, executing manual tests, logging defects with clear steps, and performing functional, regression, and smoke testing. You will also learn QA tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Postman) and participate in daily standups.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts (SDLC, STLC) and test case design.
• Basic SQL knowledge (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY).
• Good written and verbal communication for bug reports.
• Willingness to learn testing tools like Jira, Bugzilla, Postman, browser dev tools.

• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing
• Verify bug fixes and do basic sanity checks
• Write simple SQL queries to validate backend data
• Participate in daily standups and report testing status
• Learn and follow the team’s bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail, etc.)

Required Skills
